Carbide brazed tips.
Carbide tipped circular saws work very well in seasoned woods. They produce a
very smooth finish and for most species of wood and most materials stay sharp
for a long time. Carbide tips are available in a variety of sizes, grades
and shapes to fit almost any cutting application. Carbide tips are able to
be re-sharpened many times and they are replaceable if they become damaged or
worn excessively. When the carbide tips need to be replaced, as long as
the blade has not been damaged, the saw can be re-tipped many times,
extending the life of the blade.
